HI .just thought I might check in......first of all I have made the " CReam of

cauliflower and broccoli " soup like 4 times since getting the recipe.Thanks ,

it is sooooooo good.And I have given the recipe to many people who also have

loved it.

I had trouble with my lt knee for a bout a monyh or so now. It has OA and

bursitis...and need to go back to old ortho dr who did my rt knee replacement

for evaluation.This ortho dr took one look at my list of meds and I think he

decided right then to send me to other dr. But he did order me an MRI and

that wasnt too bad. Also when I went back for the results of MRI ..he gave me

a shot in the knee which has helped some but the bursitis just wants to keep

on........

I had a swollen lt eyelid ...remember ? Well, turns out that is sinus

infection and Sojren's.....I had a CT scan on my sinuses ...and I do not

have any sinuses behind my eyebrows......but my maxillary lt one is boggy and

ear was in fected ...and my tongue was covered with spots ......so now I take

Salogen and have to put drops in my eyes or my lt eye gets way too blurry and

I can feel the lacrimal duct rubbing...so I have to try to remember to put

the drops in every couple of hours.....

So I finally got started on my allergy injections again after 2 months going

w/o from changing ins co. and being sick and on Cipro. Went to get my shot

Friday and both my ears are infected .....my allergic asthma is here in full

bloom...cos our allergy season is bad here right now......Today has been

miserable.I havent slept at all last night and today I have tried to rest

.......my ribs hurt front and back....The allergist gave me singulair ,

Azmacort. Flonase, Allegra, not to mention breathing treatments on the

nebulizer..........

And then today I have a slight fever going and so my RA is reminding me I

have it. Feel like a truck ran over me .....I am so achy........and hot and

sweaty......

just want to be whiny and miserable I guess. Oh well, I have some cheese to

go with my whine.......going to go sit in the shower and see if I cant feel

Oh my, Judy! That's a really bad report. I'm so sorry that your troubles

continue and more have surfaced.

I hope your shower gave you some relief. Some days I stay in it until I

the hot water tank is nearly empty - aaahhhhh.

So what did the doc say about your knee after reviewing the MRI? Will

you have to have another replacement?

Well, , this ortho dr told me I can expect to have to have the left knee

replaced in 3 yrs or so.........but also said he doesnt do joint

replacements....to go back to other dr who did my rt one...which I have no

problem with as I was on all my meds then and I healed fine ...in fact had

miraculous recovery compared to some......So I am hoping the injection holds

for a month or so ..and then get into to old dr.....

I am hating this asthma......I took the shower hours ago and I did stay in

there till the hot water was starting to dwindle.......it felt so

good......and I felt wonderful till just a bit ago.....I have taken all the

stuff I can , breathing treatments, inhalers, pills, and I guess tonight will

be another night of finally falling asleep sitting up...I have had my son

percussing my back off and on.(beating on it gently)....I just wish I could

sleep w/o the wheeze or whistle....drives me nuts.and makes feel like the

exorcist is in my room with me....You know up until a month ago I hadnt had

any asthma problems for almost 2 yrs......in fact I rarely carried an inhaler

any more......cos I usually know when my allergies are bad and get them

under control before it gets to this point . A bit ago I was looking for some

Vicks vapor rub(cream)...to put some on my cheeks....it may not do a thing

but I think it is a pyschological thing about the vapors from when I was a

kid.....and maybe I'll get to doze with it... last night my son slept in the

living room which he likes to watch tv late ...no big deal...but I guess I

kept him up all night with my coughing ...he asked me this morning when he

got up if I slept at all last night cos he didnt till about 530am.and then

he went to his room .I said , well, maybe 10-20 min here and there........

Maybe I'll go have some hot tea .....and try that.......I like hot green tea

w lemon...works for me........take care ...Judy in AZ
