I got this email from someone on one of the other groups I am on. I checked it

out and sure enough, has changed my settings. This email gives directions

on how to take care of this. This is with the - I don't think it

has anything to do with email, but I haven't checked that out since I

rarely use it.

Important! If you don't want to receive a lot of spam from

advertisers, please note the following:

has revised its privacy policy. Your former preferences have

now been changed. You will need to reset them. Here's how.

After logging in to , click the tab at the top of the page that

says " Account Info. " Enter your password. When that page opens,

scroll to just under your listed email addresses. Then click on

" Edit Marketing Preferences. "

When that page opens, you'll see that has set each option to

YES (please send me spam). You'll need to click on each and every

option to change it to NO. Near the bottom of the page, be sure to

check NO about phone and postal delivery of advertising then

click " Save changes. "

Thanks for the tip .

I changed my settings back after reading your email. I haven't heard anyone

complain, but everyone else must be getting all the objectionable spam I've

receiving on a daily basis. It is amazing that can't stop some of this

dreck from getting through. To imagine it was about to increase is mind

boggling.

Hi ,

I had a hard time finding it because of how I get to my YaHoo mail,

but I did. For those that want to take a quick shortcut to

the " Marketing Preferences " . Once you are in your YaHoo mail, this

URL is a direct link to the preferences settings,

http://subscribe./showaccount , it works great and gets rid

of those nasty spams. I did leave the first one as Yes, it is for any

direct messages from YaHoo about their services.
