Guest guest
Tess--I think I need Remicade too but my rheumie is slow to try it because of the cost and he doesn't think my HMO will cover it--I'm not sure. I was taking sulfasalazine but after a couple of years wasn't working too well, and I had really bad anemia which the dr. thought was related to the drug. So started metho. After about 6 months now, I'm entirely off sulfa; I'm only on metho. It worked great at first and I even thought I might get a remission, along with the Paleo diet I'd started, but that only lasted a little while. I'll see the dr. in April and try to get some more answers about Remicade. This week I learned I should be getting a determination on my soc security disability application. The case worker called me and asked a few questions. He sounded upbeat and friendly, so I sure hope I'll get the disability pay! Elaine--Good for you! No more cataracts. Both of mine have been removed now too, and it's great. In most ways my vision has really improved but interestingly, my eyes don't adjust very well anymore, like from more light to less light, distance vision to nearer vision, etc. Still, it's a huge improvement! Best to all, lie
Guest guest
Hi Stacey: So glad that things are turning out well. That is so neat that Wyatt got such special treatment from the police officer - he is a very brave little boy and needs to hear that we are all very proud of his being strong enough to tell you what was happening. Hope that storms aren't too severe in your area - we could use a bit of rain here in CA - send it our way okay?
