Guest guest
Just came from the Rheumy today. RA still aggressive after two years and nothing seems to help. Have a new salid. Celebrex 200 twice a day, Arava 20 once a day, Elevil 50 at night, Methotrexate 20 once a week, Predisone 10 every other day, Azulfidine 500 four times a day, Folic acid daily and Doxycycl 100 once a day. Still haven'r received my Enbrel number. My fingers and wrists are deforming and my feet and ankles are really painful to walk on. Still manage to work 8 hours and keep up a single parent home and take one college class a week. Don't know how much longer I can do it if my ankles and feet go. Guest guest
Terry, Maybe you'd better check into that enbrel registration number. A friend of mine got one immediately. How long have you been waiting? Just in case there is a mix up, it may be a good idea to check. You have quite a coctail to take. Sorry it's not helping. I admire your strength for still doing all that you do. I hope you find something that helps really soon. a From: terryandassociates <terryandassociates@...> Reply- Date: Tue, 02 Apr 2002 23:20:52 +0000 Subject: [ ] Ohio - Terry Update Just came from the Rheumy today. Guest guest
I hope they get on the ball and pay some overtime! Going without Enbrel is NOT an option for me! I too just got a 3 month supply, so hopefully the manufacturing problems will be resolved soon. a Re: [ ] Ohio - Terry Update On Enbrel. I have a 3 month supply at the moment but my mother just called to say that it was on the news that there is now a bigger shortage than ever before. Guest guest
Terry, I got the letter last week. I heard the shortage is due to the merger between Immunex and Amgen. But then I also heard that it's the FDA that's holding things up. Whatever it is, I hope they get moving on manufacturing. To have so many people dependent on it, and not be able to produce it should be criminal. a [ ] Re: Ohio - Terry Update a It has been 3 months. I have called them twice. Guest guest
i agree paula, it has been over a year since i have been on it. but they were warning of problems back then and were saying they were building a new mfg plant to supply the demand. that was when they started the card to get it. i wish it wouldn't have made me so sick. kathy in il
Guest guest
I just don't understand how this process works. I know someone that was just prescribed it 3 months ago and didn't wait at all. It doesn't seem fair to those of you that have been waiting for a long time. a Re: [ ] Re: Ohio - Terry Update i agree paula, it has been over a year since i have been on it. but they were warning of problems back then and were saying they were building a new mfg plant to supply the demand. that was when they started the card to get it. i wish it wouldn't have made me so sick. kathy in il
