Guest guest
Ok folks, As you know I have 2 daughters and a son. the older daughter has always been an individual but has tried on those water filled bras! The only reason she doesnt have one is that she can't stand how they feel!! padded bras are another story! The younger, and less refined sister, would like to be Brittany Spears but would NEVER say that outloud with her siblings around!! She also goes to a school with a dress code of skirts below the knee - makes it hard to 'be free'!! She does have " hair to die for " so she tends to go overboard with fancy hair styles (My arms kill me after doing them)! My darling tom is another story all together! At the moment he has sea blue hair, ugly spikes under his lip and above his chin, and tatoos. He also tends to wear clothing that gets noticed like the orange/yellow shirts that road crews wear. He has a favourite pair of orange coveralls - just like he wore when in jail!! We find it hard to critise the kids since we are pretty different ourselves! btw, we were/are hippies - the kids names mean innocence, jewel and radiance! I have my nose pierced. we have tried organic farming (far tooo expensive to make a profit) and tend to still wear clothing of natural fibers!! About births - like with everything else: no time! I popped them all out, med free and fast! Tom never had anything near his body that wasnt 100% natural fabric (cotton or wool), home made food, .... Maybe he should have had some chemicals when he was younger then he wouldnt need so many now!! life is never dull around here!! I am glad they have something to focus on aside from OCD! see you guys on the chat.... wendy, in canada ================================================= > xslav@... I DO have a Britney Spears clone for a daughter. For God's sake she was conceived and nearly born (we moved two weeks before her birth) in Berkeley CA. Today she is wearing skin tight blue jeans, a cropped top, bluish nail polish and purple lip gloss. Where did I go wrong???? > > And lastly, like Dana, I went through 26 hours of > unmedicated labor (which was interrupted by an earthquake), followed by six hours of pushing and then a C-section. I should have known she was going to be trouble. And all that " no medication " stuff is probably the VERY REASON she is a walking pharmacy now. --- lyricaldreamer@... wrote: > With boys, it can be just as frustrating. Remember the fad with > the blue jeans dragging the street, and the waste hanging down to their thighs.... showing the whole world their boxer shorts? My boys invented that. Yep-- it started right here! We've done the BLUE SPIKED hair, too. I remember walking in the front door one day--- with hair that looked like The Blue Ridge Mountains----and I screamed !!! This too shall pass. Joni _______________________________________________________
Guest guest
Judy, thanks for the advice on the meditation tape. It was fun to read your note to . My 15 yr. old son Sam is also way into punk - we've been through blue and pink mohawks - he now has a spiky-hedgehog like hair look! He is joining a band and they are all very socially conscious - if you can understand their lyrics underneath all the racket. It's loud but we are so glad to see Sam excited about something and crawling out from underneath the rock of depression and OCD symptoms that have kept him down for the last few years!
