Guest guest
Hello Tess & Welcome Jeanne, I want to comment on the Psoriatic Arthritis part of this. Before I started Remicade I had these awful dry patches on a few of my fingers. Right before my first Remicade (March 2000) I showed my doc and he told me to use cortisone cream. I did. Also, it was the worse it had every been and appeared to be spreading to other fingers. It was mainly on my thumb and pointer fingers. It was very red, inflamed and itchy. I was hiding my hands at this point. Anyhow, I used the cream but not for long and don't know if it worked or not because soon, the patches just disappeared, and has never come back. Then I learned that Remicade was working for PA as well. That is when everything clicked, it cleared up my hands! My hands have been fine since! So, I started wondering, do I have some PA? What do you think, a? ? ~Rainy rainysu@... Re: [ ] Looking for a similar story... > Hi Jeanne...have you read about psoriatic arthritis? It has many > siilarities to rheumatoid, and some differences.
