Guest guest
a, thank you so much for these wonderful articles! They certainly help explain the ANA situation better, and I appreciate it. My morning stiffness and the equal swelling/pain on both sides is part of the reason why he's diagnosed RA. I do have some photosensitivity, though. One other thing, any suggestions for how to cope with fatigue? Some days I can just barely push myself to finish all the tasks I need to. Will the DMARD's help as they begin to work? Thanks again! Guest guest
Carol, Glad they helped. As far as photosensitivity, there are many medications that cause photosensitity. Here's a link that has a very good article as well as a chart with drugs that are known to cause photosensitity. http://hsc.virginia.edu/cmc/pedpharm/v4n6.htm Fatigue in these diseases is a major battle for all of us. Here's some reading material on fatigue and RA. http://www.healthtalk.com/rain/horiz/belza/ http://arthritis.about.com/cs/fatigue/index.htm When you find the right medication, it can help with the fatigue. Until then, you really need to rest when your body tells you. One of the hardest things for me to deal with is seeing a messy house, and not having the energy to do anything about it. Take advantage of the good days. a RE: [ ] My ANA Is Positive. . .What Does That Mean? a, thank you so much for these wonderful articles!
