Lynn, I am sorry your SS file has travelled around.........mine did that too

for over a year.......when they finally got it , it had been to Indianapolis,

Baltimore, St. Louis just to name a few.........I have only lived and worked

in NY,Tx,and AZ ....and this man I know here was born in PA, lived and grew

up in No Dak, moved to AZ and worked here 30+yrs and was told he needed to go

back to PA to get his SS......which he did and took him less than a yr once

he got there.......I think it is great that we have something like SS to fall

back on....I just wonder if they do this (sending records all over the

place)randomly or what........good luck in this speeding yours up......Judy

Well, here I am again..........I had a walker delivered today....seems I

twisted my left knee or something. I just got up one morning last week and it

hurt horribly...no fall, no bumps or bruises......cant walk w/o it killing me

since Monday .Doing Ice , extra painkillers, extra Lodine...wake up in

morning and it feels fine till I stand up ......So I went to urgent care

yesterday and the dr ordered me a walker.(I dont do crutches well, from having

RA in hands and carpaltunnel )Dr said it was hurting me right on joint line

which could be muscles, or joint,......all I know is it hurts just like my rt

one did back before it was replaced.......no real swelling or heat from

it......going to ortho dr on Mon.

Also still after a month have my eyelid swollen on my lt eye. Finally getting

a CTscan on my sinuses on Friday........they are pretty sure they are

full.......still on Kflex after 2 rounds of Cipro...using Artificial tears

and taking Salagen for Sojren's Synd....they say my lacrimal gland on that

eye is swollen too......(you can see it in the swelling of top lid).

Anyways......other than that I feel good.........beautiful weather here in

Phoenix AZ and waiting for all you people in the east to get a late winter

storm......used to be when I lived in NY if we didnt have a decent amount of

snow by now we would get 3 ft in March and April....I am from Syracuse NY

where the words lake effect mean something.............

Welcome to all the new people.........this is a great place of knowledge and

a lot of caring people........going to hobble back on the bed and freeze my

knee.........Judy in AZ

Hi Becky,

How are you feeling? I hope your days are as painfree as possible. Thank

you for your note. I guess this will all come about in God's own time.

For now I will do what I do best and pray. It has been such a long road.

Coming here and knowing all my friends is such a tremedous help. Hope

today is good for you.

Lynn

Hi Kathy,

How are you feeling today after all your cleaning? You will probably need

to rest today in your clean house. Thank you for your note. I hope we are

finally on the right track. My attorney is suppose to call the social

security woman next Thursday so we will see what happens. Thank you for

your kind words.

Hi Judy,

I thought I was the only person this happened too. I never even thought

that this could be happening all the time. You have to wonder why these

people get paid for doing their work. Look at your application sent all

over the country and for what reason. Maybe someone like to run up the

postal bills. It has to cost plenty to mail these files all over the

place. Anyway, I hope things will move along soon. It has been such a

long road. I couldn't understand why people who filed after me were

getting their hearings and social security. Now I know, thank goodness my

attorney that the phone call.

How are you feeling? Hoping today will be a painfree day for you. Thank

you for your note. It is interesting to read that this must happen a lot.

Have a good day.

Hi Lynn,

I'm doing Good for the most part. As long as I can get up in the

morning and function even if it is in 1st gear. Very seldom am I able to

shift to 2nd and never get to 3rd; overdrive is out of the question. LOL

The Remicade seems to be doing me very good, along with 3 Methotrexate

every Sat. morning, and I'm down to 2mg prednisone every other day with the

hopes to stop it all together around the 16th of March. Just wish we had an

indoor, heated pool in our area. Would really like to do the water excercises

and just maybe I would lose some of what I have gained.

Again, I'm thankful to be as mobile as I am.

Be Blessed,

Becky
