Good work losing another pound, Marlis!

Has your rheumy ever prescribed a drug such as misoprostol to try to

help protect your stomach along with your NSAID?

Here is a good article on preventing GI complications as a result of

NSAID use, and it also includes a table listing the relative

gastrointestinal toxicities of NSAIDs:

Good luck at your appointment tomorrow.

Thanks ,

I'll check out this site regarding NSAID's.

My rheumy thinks I'm doing great, even tho I still see and feel

swelling in my hands and feet. My blood tests have been coming back

great and showing lower numbers. According to him that is a great

improvement but I don't feel it yet. We discussed my BP medication

and will probably change it when I meet with my regular MD in 2

weeks. Something with a diruetic (sp?) to help with the swelling so

that I can start walking again. Both of my feet hurt alot, before I

was dx with RA, I saw a podiatrist and he said I had a Morton's

Neuroma in my right foot, but now both feet hurt, so I'm sure it was

RA all the time and not a neuroma.

RA is new for me, I've only been on medications for 7 months, but I

started having stiffness about 14 months ago.

Congrats to all the losers out there.

Keep drinking H20

Marlis :)
