Guest guest
Rainy, Per my reg dr and rheumy, they both advised me to lose weight. I joined Weight Watchers on 1/7/02. I weighed in tonight and I have lost a total of 13.4 lbs., not bad for 7 weeks, even tho I'd like for it to be alot more. I usually lurk on the list but I've had RA for 7 month. If anyone has WW questions I'd be glad to answer them. Marlis > > Hello Friends, > > I have a suggestion. I know there are several of you > who would like to lose > some weight. Guest guest
Oh good! Congratulations! I am so glad you posted. I hope that you will post more often. You can continue with everyone here on your diet. Your progress alone will inspire others! ~Rainy [ ] Re: Weight Club > Rainy, > > Per my reg dr and rheumy, they both advised me to lose > weight. Guest guest
that is very true marlis, we need to change the way we eat every single time, a diet is someone that needs to drop 10 lbs to fit in that dress. we have to make healthy choices. are you doing the " point " value?? kathy in il
Guest guest
my friend was doing the points, she was going to bring over the book. this was in december. i gave up and went the slim fast route. as long as i do it, it's fine. but there are so many good foods out there that i want to taste. it really makes it hard. i make so many excuses. i just like food!!! but i keep buying the slim fast, haven't given up yet. need to use it on a daily basis, not just oh...i have an appt in 1/2 hr. kathy in il
Guest guest
Rainy, Thanks, I've been on several WW lists but I'm not able to exercise right now and it seems like everyone else is able to. You can still lose weight and not exercise any. My WW leader lost over 100 lbs before she ever started exercising. My feet swell alot, so I've got to try and lose some before even starting to walk. One thought to think about, for me this is not a DIET, it is a lifestyle change for me. I seem to do better when we remove the " D " word. I know I'm funny about things like that. Let me know what I can do to help everyone. Marlis > Oh good! Congratulations! I am so glad you posted. I hope that you will post > more often. You can continue with everyone here on your diet. Guest guest
Yes, I'm doing the points. So far, it hasn't been that hard for me to stay within points.
