Hi Mindy,

I'm not sure when I will get the scooter. I am a bit concerned about what

the doc will say on the forms that I need him to fill out. I am in the

middle of writing a private email to and will paste that part to the

list when I am done. I don't recall what I said I was waiting to hear on? I

reply to so many emails during the day that I kinda need the part quoted

that you respond to so I know. :) I'm sorry. Ask again, OK, with the quoted

part or tell me what I was waiting for. Heck, if I have forgotten something

I was waiting on, someone needs to remind me! LOL.

I have been writing poetry since I was 13, which I have written hundred's

of. I have 3 of them published in the community college literary book. I

even won third place in the contest and got $50! I was so shocked and

excited! I mean, $50 for a few words! I've started a couple of books. My

first one, my " starter " book is 132 double spaced pages. I started that in

1993. That one was for me to find a routine. I never finished it. One day,

maybe I will. Besides that I write down my opinions on various subjects. If

anything, I write for me. My goal is to eventually publish. I think it is a

matter of just getting my rear in gear.

I do have numbness in a couple places, my elbows and big toe. My first

rheumy said that I probably had a pinched nerve and that the feeling would

never come back, it's been years now, and I still have no feeling there. I

also have weakness at times in my arms and legs. It goes along with the RA.

That is why it is so important to exercise, to stay as strong as we can and

to stay as mobile as possible.

" Arthritis affects 10 percent of the American population and 50 percent of

those over age 65. Strokes, nerve damage, and accidents may also result in a

loss of flexibility in the fingers and other joints. Arthritis may cause

weakness in limbs, and force some individuals to avoid stress on joints. "
