I really like the advice I have gotten on this. Find one spot and pinch it

every week. You want it to go down.

I hear quotes about bf percentages on a lot of boards and quite frankly, I

don't believe very many of them. Even if I pinch generously and add up a

few millimeters, on the calculator below I come up 17% bf, and I know that

isn't true.

Sorry, but I obsessed over this whole thing for many weeks and I finally

learned to trust the old " clothes O Meter " and I only quote myself as some

range like " around 20% " which I get from the Accumeasure one site

method. (Dang thing makes you add fat percentage as you age, makes a bunch

of assumptions about all the fat in your muscles... grrr)

Sounds like a lot of folks here have made some excellent progress by the

" clothes O Meter " measurement.

That's a much better way to gauge your body fat percentage. Go on the internet

and try out a dozen calculators and you'll get a huge variety of results. I did

this just for fun one day and had results from 6%-30%!!! I usually use three of

the most popular and average them or just use the one-pinch on my calipers for

reference without taking it very seriously. I don't believe my results either.

My bf% is supposedly 15%, but I just don't look like other people do at that bf

level.
