Guest guest
I also have had confusion for several years, we just wrote it off as my quirky personality. It is weird, imagine the look on a first grader's face when you use the completely wrong word. I didn't realize at the time that I had liver disease or even after that, that it was related until it got really bad this fall. I was put on lactulose which helps capture the amonia in the digestive system and move it out - that has helped with some of the worst of it. It's all part of encephopathy related to what the liver is processing. I find it frustrating and it's worse when I'm tired. I have a hard time spelling - even these e-mails require a lot of fixing. Part of the reason I had to pull out of some of my activities was that I was having more and more difficulty tracking the ideas and creating my own on the spot. We also use it as a point of humor around here especially when someone else slips up and the rest of my family has always depended on my to check their spelling so they are on their own now! It's the most frustrating part for me, too, but then when it gets really bad I probably won't remember and it won't bother me at all Amy
Guest guest
In a message dated 8/3/2004 3:48:33 AM Eastern Daylight Time, writes: I went throught the shampoo thing a few years ago and got totally SICK of it - it just didn't work (our oldest daughter has very thick hair). I heard about this great ELECTRIC COMB that you can purchase from the pharmacy. I thought it was expensive at the time (around $70), but was at the point of desperation (next step was to shave the kids!). I bought it, and we havn't looked back - this device is the BEST THING EVER and well worth the initial money. Yes, the kids have had lice since then, but it's a simple process to use this comb on their hair morning and night for a week or so, and right from the first combthrough the lice are dead and gone. If you comb through every day and night, you catch any new ones as they hatch. Everytime I hear another mother (because it's usually us that has to fix it!) complaining, I tell them about this comb (mine is brand name ROBICOMB) and everyone that's bought it has thanked me. WELL WORTH BUYING! Regards in Sydney, Australia (wife of Tony, mother of (13), (11, DS), and Greg (9) I to have used to RObi Lice comb(battery powered) It does work. It will zap the live ones. It has a constant humming sound and when a live bug is combed into the comb the humming will stop. That is how u know you got em. It does take patients but is affective. I suggest clipping all the hair up and part out small sections at a time. This way u know that u have combed through all the hair. I have found the Robi Comb at Walmart for under $40. Good Luck!!!!!!
