Guest guest
Here I am with another problem. (Sorry everyone.) I use the elliptical trainer at my gym and love the workout I get from it. But by the time I'm half way through my toes get numb. I try to use the heel of my foot throughout but that helps only a little. Anybody know what I am doing wrong? Thanks. Also I found this great recipe for salad dressing in one of my fitness magazines. It did not say what the nutritional value was but it looks like it is fat free and low in calories and no sugar. Here it is: NON DRESSING 1/2 C basalmic vinegar 1 tblsp Dijon mustard 1 tsp garlic with herbs 2 packets Equal Mix all ingredients in a bowl with wire whisk. Refrigerate any leftovers. I made this last night and had it over spinach salad with my BBQ salmon. YUM!! ~Laury
Guest guest
Thanks Cheryl, I just bought new shoes so maybe I need to break them in more. Thanks. ~Laury
Guest guest
Thanks a, I think my shoes fit ok, but I will try loosening the laces. They are brand new running shoes. I've had them maybe 2 weeks now. Thanks for the tip. ~Laury
Guest guest
I also had the problem of getting numb toes on my treadmill. I changed shoes to some with a wider area for my toes and lo and behold..... no more numb toes. Try it!
Guest guest
Are your feet too high up in the pedals? Try putting your feet in the center or toward the back. You have be having too much pressure from the front pedal wall. -Nic In a message dated 29-May-00 10:55:15 Eastern Daylight Time, laury5313@... writes: << But by the time I'm half way through my toes get numb. Guest guest
A few weeks ago I posted about my numb toes. Yesterday when I went to the regular doc to ask about it, the first thing out of her mouth was that it was caused by methotrexate. I told her I belonged to this group and had never heard of metho doing that, but several of the group responded to back problems being connected. (It was so nice to be informed! Thanks!) She listened and is investigating and will get back to me later... Thanks again for the imput Penny
