Guest guest
Before I add my few cents, Penny, welcome to this wonderful group! I live north of you in Vancouver, Washington and see my doc over at OHSU. Where do you see yours? OK, here's my dime. My big toe on my left foot is numb, on the outside edge. It's been this way since at least 93. I asked my first rheumy about it and he said the feeling would never come back, and it hasn't. A pinched nerve, he said. Also, the backs of my arms (the lower half of the arm) by my elbows are numb. Also, the top area by my hips. What else? I am sitting here " scratching " areas to find the numbs spots. LOL. I also have a very large numb spot on my back and left side due to my heart surgery at age 5, but that doesn't count. LOL. I think that is it. I believe my first rheumy said that it is related to the RA because of it being a pinched nerve caused by the RA. ~Rainy NW [ ] numbness > > Date: Thursday, March 07, 2002 10:43 AM > > > > I just made an appoint with my gp, and after catching up on this > > list, am thinking maybe its connected to my RA instead. > > The three middle toes on my left foot started going numb in the past > > year.
