Hi ,

How are ya! Good to see you! Our official start date was: March 10. We

aren't " dieting, " but we are eating " healthier. " Of course, our goal is to

lose some of those prednisone pounds. As I told everyone else, I'm not in on

the losing part as I don't need to lose any. I got lucky with my 20 years of

prednisone use and weighed in on Tuesday at 105 lbs. But I am eating better.

More fruits and veggies. Etc.

Anyway, check-in is on Saturday so we can all brag. :) At the end of the

month, you send me your monthly total and I add together everyone's monthly

total to come up with one sum for the whole group, to see what the whole

group loss as a whole. It makes it fun that way. Oh, you need to be making a

chart or keeping track of your weight and loss. it is up to you to do that.

Be sure and write down the date and also your beginning weight so you can

see your progress later. I also suggested measuring bust, thigh, hips, etc

to see when inches are lost. That is for you to decide. You need not share

your weight with the group unless you want to. You do need to have a scale

or one accessible once a week to weigh in.

We are stressing that you drink more water. Eat more fruits and veggies.

Just eat healthy foods. Don't deny yourself anything, however. If you want

to eat a piece of chocolate, do. It isn't so much what you eat, but how

much. *I* feel that if you deny yourself something you really want like a

cookie or piece of cake, that you may end up eating a whole bag or the whole

cake. Moderation.

I know I am forgetting things, but you get the idea. I want you to know we

are all here to support you! I am here to support you! As a group, I feel we

can all do this and we will all come out winners!
