Online Purchases from Foreign Pharmacies - Buyer Beware!

Yes, Sam, many US residents are ordering prescriptions online from

foreign countries, including Canada.

The company I saw mentioned in the ABC report was

http://www.canadianmedsusa.com, but there are many others. Here is a

Unfortunately, the FDA warns that " technically the practice violates

federal laws. " In reality, although online prescription purchases from

foreign countries is not exactly legal, at this time, the FDA does not

intend to track down and prosecute people who buy their drugs in this

fashion.

One huge caution to US residents contemplating this: if you do buy

online from a foreign source, the FDA cannot protect you. There is no

FDA guarantee that the drug is what you think it is or that it is safe.

If you get ripped off, you can't really going crying to Uncle Sam about

it. So, buyer beware!

this is all over the news now as the Americans are saving so much money

buy from the Canadian drugstores..try getting your enbrel and remicade

filled there...

I have not used the pharmacy as I live in the town where all this

controversial situation is happening so my access is not needed via the

internet.but the Americans are spending between 10 and 12 million a

month for cheaper drugs of the same brand name.
