Awwww, I'm sooo sorry, Carol! Believe me, I know how you feel! I got over a

horrible left hip flare from beyond a little less than a week ago and it was

100% pure torture. I hope you aren't even close to the kind of pain I was

in. I couldn't sit, stand, walk, lay down on either side. No good sleep for

a week. I was exhausted, PO'd, and getting uncontrollable. LOL. Ryder (b/f)

had to carry me to the bathroom and I screamed the whole way, screamed

sitting on the toilet because the seat pushed into my hip. Poor guy is an

angel! O:) He did EVERYTHING for me. Meals. He put me in the shower, though

I got to admit, I didn't shower much that week, EOD maybe. It just hurt too

much. I even had to wake him in the middle of the night so he could help me

to the bathroom. This weekend he took some vacation time Fri/Mon/Tues. VERY

much deserved! He was getting worn down to the bone. Not many men out there

like him.

Rainy, I'm so sorry you had to go through that. And you always have such a

wonderful, inspiring attitude. My pain isn't quite that bad, I just can't

get the pain to subside enough to get comfortable at all. The pain is deep

in the joints.like a burning toothache pain. I've only been diagnosed for

a couple of months, and I was doing so well last month. It is so scary to

be in this much pain. And the depression after going through this since

Monday is getting to be pretty bad (the prednisone isn't helping much,

either). I told my husband that I was sorry he must endure this with me,

and he was so sweet. He said that he cares about me, and knows how hard it

is for me right now, and wishes he could make it better. That meant so much

to me. I guess one of the bright spots in this situation is knowing how

much we are loved.
