Hi Diane,

It's so good to have involved, supportive family members but I guess in some ways, like this, their input can also make certain things more difficult. We wrestle with ourselves over the choices we have to make about some of these meds, weighing the pros and cons, probable benefits versus possible side effects. I'm glad that you are well-informed and hopefully, you sharing the information with them will help make the decision a bit more easy for them to understand.

This is a good overview. I'm sending it to my parents who are very upset about our decision to put on methotrexate. I think this will help them understand the alternatives and what the various drugs are supposed to do. Thanks as always for the good info. Diane (, 2, pauci)
