Hi Jeanne,

So glad to hear that you are feeling well. Go with it!!!!!!!! Ride it out

as long as you can, but don't overdo. I would hate to read that you have

hurt yourself. I have also had periods of months where I really wasn't sure

that I had RA. Then all of a sudden-------FLARE! So, please, enjoy, but be

careful.

Thanks Stacey!

I am trying to temper my energy bursts...it's hard though. I started

feeling pins and needle pains again this afternoon in my fingers and

elbows. My right knee is also telling me it's not all gone. I still

feel great in comparison to 2 weeks ago. And I'll take that!!!

Jeanne,

What a great picture. Your girls are darling!! You look like you had

beautiful weather!

I live in NW Florida and before I started treatment for my arthritis I was

in constant pain. When it was about to rain I always felt worse. Now that

I feel better (methotexate and prednisone, then methotrexate and vioxx), I

don't notice any difference in the way I feel, as a rule, in connection to

the weather. I mostly feel pretty good, but get aches and pains and can get

over tired and then feel kinda crappy.

I was in Boston 2 weeks ago, in the middle of an unexpected heat wave, then

it cooled down again. I didn't notice any difference in the way I felt there

then how I feel in Florida, other than since I wasn't going to work I wasn't

in such a rush!

[ ] Feeling great after vacation?!

> Hi Everyone!

> Our family went on our first official week-long family vacation last week

and I am just amazed at how good I'm feeling! Can't believe I felt so bad a

couple of weeks ago (achey joints and fatigue). So, I'm just wondering if

there has anything to do with the warmth of the sun? We were in SC and had

beautiful weather all week. Here's where I'm puzzled...I STILL am feeling

GREAT and I've been back in Toledo since Sunday. The weird thing is we came

back to cool and damp weather. I thought this had contributed to my pain in

recent months.

> Hmmmm? I'm scratching my head now wondering A.) what I have and B.)how it

is manifesting itself? I did get another scleritis in my eye the week before

we left. That makes it 6 times in 6 months. So, I'm doing the steroid drops

right now and see the eye doc tomorrow.

> Do any of you go for long stretches with zero problems???? I'm so happy to

be feeling GOOD, I don't want it to end! Have any of you heard of the

microbe theory and that these diseases are virtually non existent by the

equator? My neighbor's daughter has Lupus and he is very knowledgable about

her condition and thinks that there's truth to this and that hot tubs and

heat kill the microbes. Do any of you live in a sunny & warm climate? If

this is the key to my feeling better, I'd seriously consider moving down

south!

Hi Suzanne!

Thanks for the compliment. My girls are my world!:)

I'm wondering if I'll notice weather changes less once I'm taking

meds. I used to get sinus headaches before it rained, now it's joint

pain. I'm still riding the high energy/low pain wave from our trip.

Hope it lasts a while. No sunshine here today...or for the next week.

UGH! Well, I hope you have a great day today!

Smiles,

Jeanne
