Lynn,

I'll have my candle lit and will be praying very hard that all goes well

tomorrow. I hope that after the hearing you will feel reassured that

things will eventually be decided in your favor.

Good luck!

Love,

Lynn, I know that you are in a lot of pain daily and that you are very

worried about further surgery. I'm so sorry about that. Tell to

about your pain in detail. He should know about the impact on your life

the pain has made. Tell him about the worry - the psychological side of

all of this is not insignificant. Tell him, too, that you had to drop

out of school. As him to imagine not being able to eat.

If there is to be more surgery, ask him what you can do before then to

stop the pain.

I hope he's got some good ideas. I'll be thinking of you, especially

tomorrow.

PS. Don't worry about and me. I bid her farewell on Sunday, and

we are both OK. Thanks so much for your thoughts on children leaving the

nest. I know you know all about that. It's probably hardest on me at the

moment, but I know you're right and that it's a necessary and good

change for both of us. Small potatoes compared to what you are dealing

with, but thank you!

Hi Lynn,

I'm so sorry you've had to take the term off school. I'm in college too,

and I took the spring term off when I was first diagnosed. It wasn't hard

to pick up where I left off, and I think under the circumstances you made

the right decision. I hope things go well tomorrow at the Dr.

Love and hugs,

Carol

Hi ,

Well it is surgery again, I can't believe it. This surgery is called a

Gastro Jejunostomy. It is almost as complicated as the Whipple. I could

learn much about it, so it is the inner net for information. I go into the

hospital on September 26 and surgery is the next day. I am so upset, I don't

know what to do.

Hi Carol,

Thank you for your note. I wish things could have gone better but I will have

to have more surgery. It is frustrating and scary.
