Guest guest
Hi All, Sorry I haven't been on but yesterday when I went to get my Remicade treatment, my one knee incision started to hemorrhage and I had to have emergency surgery to close the site. I did get the full Remicade infusion, but it was a very long day for me and my oldest daughter and her boyfriend. My knee has started again to bleed a tiny bit tonight so I am in a knee immobilizer and total bed rest and back to the surgeon tomorrow. Right now with all the blood in that area, my knee is extremely painful. The fracture pain is totally gone. He filed the patella down really smooth and he said made sure that there was nothing touching any of the nerves to give me pain. Now if the area where he did the lateral release would stop bleeding, some of the pain may dissipate. Although he says that this is a very painful procedure to begin with. The hematologist took a ton of blood yesterday and is checking on iron levels and to check on scheduling the bone marrow biopsy to see why and where I am making too many platelets from. Never a dull moment! I will post more as soon as things change. Hope everyone has a good evening and hopefully pain free. Gentle, tender, angel hugs, Debs in FL
