Guest guest
Hi Judy, I am in a remicade study also but they never said anything about getting paid guess I need to go to Az. I have had two infusions and get my third May 23rd. I am in the study for 66 weeks and get remicade for 33 weeks and a placebo for 33 weeks. I can tell I am on the remicade. I noticed a change in the level of pain that eve after the first infus. then a day or two later the pain was completly gone in some joints. It is remarkable drug. I think when these 33 weeks are over, I will opt out of the study. Well. who wants a placebo after getting the real thing? duh!!! Good luck to you. Guest guest
Hi Judy, Why would a study give subjects a placebo following a treatment when they suffer from something as painful and miserable as RA!??! Are you all supposed to just suffer in misery for 33 weeks?? I wouldn't suffer all the pain and misery I used to suffer voluntarily, I think I'd have to drop out too! Since it is working so well for you, what will you do after the 33 weeks? Will you be able to afford to keep taking it? Glad you having such success. It's nice to find a treatment that gives relief.
