Hi All...my last Remicade IV started pooping out on me at 6 1/2 weeks.

I noticed pain coming back in my wrist, shoulder and fingers. Now my

beautiful slender fingers are swellng, with reddish, stiff joints.

I called my Rheummy who said we'll do a 7 week schedule, and hopefully

that will take care of it. He wanted me to come in early this week, but

the IV Tech is all booked. So I'll go in Friday as scheduled.

I got a kick out of Rainy saying she was playing with her rings that she

hadn't been able to wear. I've done that too. I was so tired of being

swollen and stiff and in pain, it felt like a boulder was taken off my

body when the Remicade began to work. I am looking forward to Friday,

and grateful for it.

I'm glad you called your rheumatologist, Tess. He sounds like he really

cares. Sorry that you couldn't get in earlier, but I hope you can make

it until Friday without too much discomfort. It's great to hear that

Remicade is helping you so much.
