Guest guest
Hi all, First of all, thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the candle lighting and prayers. THEY WORKED!!!!!! I was in surgery for approximately 4 hours and he did not have to cut me. He was afraid that he may have to open the knee if he could not get to everything that he needed to do. That would have required an inpatient incarceration and extensive rehab. It took him a looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnng time, but I feel it well worth it as I am home where I belong with my husband and daughters. He removed the big chunk of bone that by now had broke all the way thru and smoothed out all the rough areas so that should take care of ANY and ALL pain that I may have in the future. The post op pain right now is pretty much unrelenting, but I know that this too shall passl The new hospital and nursing staff were all excellent. I got home about 6:00 PM and snuggled into my bed, ordered some Chinese carry-outs (loaced with MSG to smooth my ruffled feathers) and am REALLY spaced out on dilaudid. I go for Remicade tomorrow, no I am not driving, So all in all, it hasn't been a too bad of a day! I sure am glad it is over though. Please forgive me if this doesn't make a whole lot of sense due to my drug induced stupor. Once again, I love you all very much and thank each and every one of you for all the help and understanding you have given me. Words can''t express how I truly feel. I will talk to you all more real soon! Gentle, tender, thankful angel hugs, Debs in FL PS: Well here goes, I did reread it several times and I think it makes as much sense on drugs as I usually do without drugs!!! LOL. Good night ALL!
