Guest guest
Hi Bridgette, I am Judy and I live in Indiana. I can relate to your frustrations. I also have grandbabies that I couldn't pick up, and like Carol, I did and would be in excruciating pain later. When I first saw my rheumatologist I told him that was my goal, to pick up my grnbabies and lo and behold after starting the methox the little one came running to me with his little arms reaching up to me and instinctively I scooped him up without pain. I was flabbergasted. I couldn't wait to tell my dr. this. Since then however I have switched rheumys because I wasn't getting anyfarther. So now I am on remicade too. What a wonder drug that is. So you need to be persistent with your dr. or find a new one who will help you. Afterall, This is your life and it should be as painfree as possible.
