Guest guest
Well, guys, I finally got my Remicade today. The facility was super nice. In total I was there for about 4 hours including the wait time, pre-medication, infusion and discharge. Haven't noticed anything big yet, but then I don't feel any worse either, so that is good! The nurses were extremely attentive, which was a nice alternative from the hospital setting. Nice to see nurses really nurse! They let my daughter come in when she got off school, so I had someone to talk to. I think I almost feel not quite so tired. But then maybe it is just the stress being taken off of me with the insurance thing and all. So far, no side effects as of yet either. The insurance went thru without a hitch. All I had was my OV co-pay. I DID call the Rep who has been helping me and told her that all her hard work paid off. I felt that I had called her enough to complain and I should also call her to say thank you. I hope I don't have to bother her again, but you never know. I am just trying to chill out tonight, so I will close for now. Talk to you all later. Thanks for your good wishes and cheering me on in my Insurance victory! Gentle, tender, angel hugs to all, Debs in FL
