Dear Debs...how are you? Is your asthma better? Did you have to go to

the ER? I had severe asthma from the age of 2 months old until my late

teens. I know how awful and scary it can be. Nowadays, I only get it

if I have a throat or sinus infection, cold or bronchitis. I feel very

blessed.

The insurance rep said they didn't cover my diagnosis for the throat

surgery. She said there is a letter coming to me explaining the appeal

process, but the ENT has already started their end of it.

I feel stuck and discouraged with this, and my hernated disks. The pain

and weird sensation in my leg is continuing. I really need some

miracles for my body & my spirit.

Thank you so much for reaching out to me even when you are suffering so.

Hugs & prayers & much love to you, dear friend.

Tess

Hi Tess,

No I didn't go to the ER last night. I tried another nebulizer treatment

before giving in and going to the ER. The last treatment did the trick. I

try to stay out of hospitals at ALL costs. They have a tendency to let you

in, and not let you out! My knee is still pretty awful and the surgeon

decreased the pain medication so I am supplementing with Extra Strength

Tylenol. It looks like it will be ice on the knee in the soft cast which

means that I can't lay on my side, but I guess that is a bonus in that my

arms and shoulders already hurt. Several times I have told Ron that if the

doc came by with a surgical consent and said here sign it, I would do so in

quick order! Or maybe I can take out that piece of bone myself, kinda like

removing a thorn! Maybe I should keep my medical skills where they belong,

in the closet. Wish I knew what triggered the asthma attack. This has been

kind of an emotional week for me, my Dad passed away 10 years ago on Monday,

Vickies birthday was Wednesday and then when Ron's parents called to talk to

Vickie, they sounded so depressed and sick, I really think that they are

living on borrowed time. So maybe it was all stress.

Any news on the appeal? Are the tonsils being taken out for anything to do

with sleep apnea or something on that order? I know many policies have

exclusions on that diagnosis. Good luck with the appeal process.

Thanks again for your thoughtful concern. Will talk again to you soon.

Gentle, tender, angel hugs,

Debs in FL

Hi,

Someone mentioned this " super blue stuff " to me quite awhile ago and I had

totally forgotten about it. I would love to have a sample. I wonder why it

is so potent?
