Guest guest
i am scheduled at last to have my gallbladder surgically removed on tues, obviously very anxious. one side affect of living without a gallbladder is an increase in reflux problems. this concerns me as my understanding is that if you reflux acid/bile etc you can aspirate it and so get a chest infection! i seem to remember discussions here about reflux but can't remember the details would appreciate it if anyone could tell me how they experience reflux, is it easy to manage, and has it caused them a chest infection ever? if it is quite a significant problem i will want to insist on discussing it with my surgeon prior to consenting to surgery cheers linda uk
