Thanks so much, Joan. I've missed you so much. I hope you are well.

I don't think I'll " kill " you for mentioning my birthday. You know much

more damaging information about me than that, so I'm grateful that's all

you revealed, dear friend.

Many thanks, too, Kathi, Carol, Colleen, , Kathy, Tess (Such a cute

song! Happy Birthday to Genevieve, too!), and Debs! I can't believe one

more year has passed, but 43 is fine with me. Despite a nasty tooth

abscess and incredibly rainy, windy, cold weather, I had a good day.

One of my birthday requests was to see Spider-Man. I saw it a few days

ago as an early present, and this Spidey fan was not disappointed.

Curiously enough, I was bitten in the garden by a spider on Friday. I

wonder if it was a genetically engineered spider ...

Hope everyone is having a good Mother's Day! I've received the " Perfect

Pancake " pan from the kids, and they cooked perfect buttermilk pancakes

with it. As much as I enjoyed the pancakes, in the future, I've got to

keep those kids away from the TV. Seems they're always getting gadget

ideas from those infomercials. Why is it every time I ask for world

peace or, at least, peace in the house, I get a Chia Pet or Magic Egg

Maker?

As another Mother's Day treat, I'm also enjoying watching the house

finch who built a nest on the top of the eucalyptus wreath on my front

door. I can see her from inside because I have two small rectangular

windows at the top of the door. She's very close to one of them. In my

opinion, she and her mate did not choose the best place for a nest with

all of the traffic in and out (she even flies away every time she sees

movement inside) and the spotlight shining on it and my US flag all

night long, but I guess it's warm and she only has to defend 180 degrees

there. There are four eggs. I have to look up how long it will be before

we can enjoy watching the young being fed by their parents.

It¹s great to see you posting! I hope this means you¹re feeling a little

better. I¹ve missed you and think about you often. Thanks for reminding

the group that it was ¹s birthday.

How are you feeling?

I¹m sorry I couldn¹t get online yesterday to wish you a happy birthday.

My daughter¹s graduation party was a success and every time I came into the

house to send off a quick note, I got sidetracked. I think I¹m going to

sleep for a week LOL!
