Guest guest
Welcome to the group, Tina! I'm sorry to hear that you've had such a tough time these last few years. As others have advised, please consider getting a lawyer to help you file for disability. Maybe, too, you could seek another medical opinion. Your physicians should be more actively involved in treating you so that you can be in less pain. Also, if they are allowing you to live in a state in which you are constantly crying, it doesn't sound as if you have competent care. Hope you will be feeling better soon! Come and write us anytime. I think it does help a lot to write it down and get it out. Re: [ ] > I WAS TOLD BY A DR. 6 YEARS AGO THAT I HAD RHUMATOID ARTHRITIS. AND I HAVE FILED FOR DISABILITY TWICE AND TURNED DOWN BOTH TIMES LAST MONTH WAS THE LAST TIME I FILED. I HAD TO QUIT MY JOB BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. THEY SAID THAT MY CONDITION WAS NOT SEVERE ENOUGH. IT REALLY MAKES ME MADE WHEN THEY SAY THAT BECAUSE WHO ARE THEY TO SAY HOW MUCH PAIN I AM IN. I CAN'T STAND FOR MORE THAT 20 MINUTES BEFORE I HAVE TO SIT DOWN AND WHEN SITTING DOWN I HAVE TO GET UP AFTER ABOUT 15 20 MINUTES BECAUSE OF THE PAIN. THEY SAY I CAN DO OTHER WORK THAT LETS ME SIT BUT I HAVE BEEN A COOK AND OR A CASHIER FOR 30 YEARS. WHAT ELSE CAN I DO. THEN JUST THIS MONTH I FOUND OUT THAT ON TOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE I HAVE LUPUS, AND KIDNEY DISEASE PLUS NOW I THINK EITHER I AM GOING THROUGH MENOPAUSE OR DEPRESSION BECAUSE ALL I DO IS CRY ALL THE TIME. SO HANG IN THERE GIRL. I FEEL FOR YOU. > SORRY FOR THE BABBLE BUT I DO FEEL BETTER NOW FOR SAYING WHAT I DID.
