Hi Everyone!

Hope you had a beautiful day. Weather was lovely!

I started the Methx and as I told you, I got sick 4

days after. Rheumy told me it definitely wasn't the

Methx, that I was sick, and go see my GP. GP said it

was viral. So, last week I skipped the Methx second

dose. Finally took it tonight.

My left knee...golly, I'm wondering if I don't have RA

there...both knees are badly worn, but the left was

murder! The simplest movement is very painful. I

know I have kneecap arthritis cause going down stairs

is very painful. I know I have to loose weight, too!

It's been hard on the Prednisone...that stuff sure

does strap a fridge onto your back!

Rheumy told me not to take Tylenol cause it is

processed through the liver, and the liver is already

taking a hit because of the Methx, so I finally took

two Advil last night. I've been taking

Glucosamine/Curcumin/MSM combination at the

recommendation of a very knowledgeable Korean who owns

a natural health food store.

Oh, I meant to tell you, I use Biotene H-24 shampoo

for thicker hair. It's really nice stuff! And instead

of commercial type conditioners, I bought essential

oils of lavender and rosemary. AFter I wash my hair,

I rub six drops of each into my hair. Talk about

fragrant....but what a benefit, my hair got shinier

and more manageable! There is something to

aromatherapy! I started loosing my hair before

medication, because of my muscle disease. And then

the Prednisone didn't help. But I insisted my doc

switch me to Unithryoid...and things improved. I know

the Methx might thin out my hair...I do take hair/nail

vitamins a few times a week just in case! Hope

springs eternal!

Have a good, restful sleep!
