Guest guest
Hi Friends...I don't remember if I wrote you today. Forgive me if I'm repeating myself. I called the ENT's insurance/scheduler lady, and told her I got a letter from the insurance company. She was impatient and immediately said we're sending in more information. I was patient, and said I just wanted to convey that I don't have a deviated nasal septum, but rather chronic tonsillitis and enlarged tonsils that constrict my airway. She again impatiently said what she'd already said. I called the insurance co. and told them the same. She said the Dr. had to change the info. I told her I understood that, but the letter said I should call if there was any additional info I wanted them to consider. She was ok, but rather impatient as well. Being your own best advocate is hard, but necessary. I went for my Remicade IV. It took 3 pokes to get an IV going, and the Tech couldn't draw blood out for labs. So, he sent me to the lab itself. , who s great, couldn't get anything after 5 pokes. I usually have a 2 poke rule, but she is good & kind & gentle. I need to go in next week for the labs, fully hydrated. I thought I was. Tonight I feel like I was run over by a Mack Truck. Everything is achy, and I feel goofy in the head. I trust the Remicade will kick in. I think I'm just weary from all the 'fallderall'. You guys brighten my life, help my attitude, and give me hope. Thank you for caring about me just as I am. With Love... Tess
