Hi All,

So sorry that I have been gone for a few days. My knee started to hemorrhage

again on Monday so it was back to surgery to try to stop the bleeding. As I

write this, I DO believe that that problem has been solved. Since Monday, no

bleeding, it has almost been a week, so I am VERY hopeful. With all the work

he has done on my knee I am still in quite a bit pain right now.

They took more blood for the platelet condition and the lab won't give me any

results. They say that the doctor has to talk to me directly. So hopefully,

I will have some answers this week. I have developed a nodule in my breast

and the abdominal adhesions that I suffer from can wait no longer to be taken

care of, so I will be calling the surgeon soon, but he can't do anything

until the platelets get straightened out. So I need some answers on this

blood sometime soon.

From all the blood loss, I have been quite weak and just feeling plain awful.

So I have been on pretty strict bed rest this whole week. Just now starting

to feel a little tiny bit better. This has been a long, long ordeal for me.

Thank you all for your concern and caring. When I have been able, I have

read a little, but just didn't have the energy to write. The pain pills that

he has me on have also contributed to this condition. I hope that you will

all understand.

Ron's Mom has apparently taken a turn for the worse, so we are trying to

speed up our plans to go to Chicago to see her before it is too late. She is

86 and Ron's Dad is 87 and with him taking care of her all the time by

himself he is fastly becoming exhausted. So, if things don't change soon, he

may lose both of them very quickly. We are trying to make some room here

that Ron's Dad can come stay (not live) with us for a short time after

everything is over with. This way we could kinda nurse him back to health.

He can then decide what he wants to do with the house and everything else.

I hope that you all have a wonderful and pain free holiday. If you are on

the roads, please be safe. Once again, thank you all for your concern and

prayers they were much appreciated and needed. I will try to keep up a bit

more and will let you all know what the blood results show if anything.

Gentle, tender, angel hugs to all,

Debs in FL

Debs,

Thanks for the update. I was really getting worried about you. It¹s great

that they got the bleeding under control. Sorry you had to have additional

surgery to get it controlled. That poor knee has been through the war. I

hope your lab report news is a good one. Are they going to biopsy the

breast nodule?

It¹s hard to watch our parents age and go through health problems. I hope

you are able to travel so you can see her. I am keeping you and your family

in my prayers.

Try to get as much rest as you can.

Hugs,

a
