Guest guest
Hi Barbara, and thanks for the link. I'm in the sad shape in the clean house department, with working full time and being exhausted when I get home Weekends are spent doing my house work, and it never gets finished, cause I poop out. It sure looks like a good way to get organized and lesson the burden some. Debbie Mc -- [ ] cleaning and such Hi everyone, I recently heard about a site called flylady.net. It is dedicated to cleaning and decluttering your homes. I can get so overwhelmed sometimes with the things I have to do and getting past the fatique and pain to actually get myself motivated and start on my housework. This site actually shows you how to start out and gives you daily reminders on what to do. All in 15 minute's of time. As the flylady says. you can do anything for 15 minutes. Well I know that may not really be true with us at times, I thought that this was a good site to use. It really does help you focus on small areas of your house and I can say that I have actually felt as though I accomplised something in a very short amount of time without getting sooo tired I had to lay down. I do hope this helps someone. As always even though I am a big time lurker, I always read the posts here. I hope that everyone is well and I keep you all in my prayers. Guest guest
I have a different approach to the whole house cleaning problem. About 2 weeks after being diagnosed with RA I tried to clean and vacuum for a baby shower I was hosting. I was so exhausted and tired that I barely left the couch for the duration of the party. The next day I called Merry Maids and hired them. They come in every 2 weeks and clean - its quite reasonable - $75 every two weeks. Now when I drag myself into work on a bad day, I remind myself that work is paying for the luxuries - like Merry Maids. Definitely easier to work in my office than to scrub my bathroom floors. Take care - >From: " Debbie Mc " <angelrose@...> >Reply- >< > >Subject: Re: [ ] cleaning and such >Date: Tue, 4 Jun 2002 06:57:19 -0700 (Pacific Daylight Time) > >Hi Barbara, and thanks for the link.
