Kathi in OK. Thanks for the info on Tricare. I have lots of questions about

how to work with them to get what I need. Judy in AZ. Is it really, really hot

there right now? I'm going to Phoenix for the weekend on the 7th. in

CA. Thank you for the info on the Dr in La Jolla. I can put that to good use.

Debs in FL. I know about the glass shards in the knee though it has never

lasted for any great lengths of time. I have had a 30+ year history of banging

my knees against the sides of a desk. All it takes now is to just tap the knee

against the edge and I see stars and a blinding flash of pain. That is probably

where I started with the pain and inflammation in my body. Also, Southern

California Albertson's Markets has a website for home delivery.

www.albertsons.com I don't know if they have it elsewhere.

San Diego UCSD is conducting a Osteoporosis preventive medicine study for women

not taking meds such as fosamax, actonel, miacalcin, or estrogen. Their number

is 858-534-8060.

Thank you all for your emails. It's great to know there are people out there

that I can relate to.

Jan in CA (Momacat or MeMa)

Yes Jan ...It is really really hot here right now!!!!!!!!!!I think it was

supposed to be 111 today and only got to 107...but it is an extremely dry

heat......we have had no measurable rainfall here in the valley yet this

yr....and it is supposed to go back to 90s for this week coming up.YOu learn

to always carry a sports water bottle (preferrably freeze an empty one half

full of water the night before then add fresh water before you go

wherever).Our humidity has been running from 7%to 32%most days......extremely

dry. I find I get headaches going from ac in car to ac in bldgs this

yr...only been since our temps went over 105 ....driving me crazy. This heat

is usually good for RA ....Judy in AZ

The important thing is that it's done. So relieved you've got through it Zoe.

I have a work colleague who is strict vegan and looks a million dollars. I'll

ask her for recipes but honestly, there are wonderful meat and dairy free foods

out there. And easy to cook - promise you.

Big hug

Steph xx

diet.....not great as I am a crap cook, but had already cut out cheese and most

processed food as well as bread :(
