Guest guest
Oh Debs, after I read this post I can see why you're not sleeping. Yikes, kiddo. Personally, I think potties are dangerous...I've broken my left big toe twice while on the critter (you don't want the details....trust me!.) But Debs, don't let this go...please see your Dr. I know you're tired of all this. But you shoudn't have to endure searing, " glass shard " pain. No, no, no. Heaven will be getting " Priority Mail " from Oregon tonight. Much Love & Many Prayers... Tess
Guest guest
Nooooooooo! This is awful news, Debs!! Please call your ortho immediately. There is no way you should be embarrassed about this at all. This is not your fault and, no, you cannot just live with it. Please call the doctor ASAP (and I'm not sure when that will be since you were up all night). Don't they need to determine if you are bleeding and that's why they want to do the scope? Since you were worried before about a possible GI bleed, please reconsider. As you know, it's nothing to fool around with. Guest guest
Debs, I know how tired of all this you are, but ignoring it won¹t make it better. Take it from a pro. Been there done that. It only makes things worse. They make a riser for the commode that will make the seat higher and thus easier to get up and down. When you see your doctor, you should ask him about one. I feel so bad for you having to go through this once again. I¹m surprised that your other group says that the scopes don¹t show anything. This is the first I¹ve heard of this. My son had one done when he was about 13 and it showed irritation of the stomach lining. The worse part of the test is the preparation, cleaning yourself out. On the other hand, doing nothing can lead to serious problems. Sure hope you change your mind. But I also understand how you feel. You¹ve been through so much already and want this to be over. I¹m just so afraid that ignoring it will lead to more problems. Wishing I could send you a miracle. a On 5/31/02 1:10 AM, " Auntblabbie2000@... Guest guest
Dear Debs: I am so sorry you are having these problems again. You have been through enough already. But Debs, Please don't ignore the pain your body is enduring. Pain pills don't make it all better. Your body, your hear, your blood pressure, can only tolerate so much pain of that kind. You know you need to get an xray, I know you know it. If you don't want to go to the ER then call your Doctor and see what he suggests. Don't worry about the Doctor's feelings because your knee hurts again. He can tolerated the disappointment I am sure. However, he is not going to like it when he hears you are not doing what you should. Please, we have all been there. We all hate the hospitals but for God's Sake God Bless the hospitals and the Doctors and Nurses, cause where would we be without them. Please do what you should. Take care of yourself. Ask for help and get yourself straightened out. You have been an inspiration to me in the past. I can't forget that. I just pray you will take care of yourself and get the necessary treatment. You are too nice of a person to be in that kind of pain. I pray no one should have to be in any pain. I can pray anyway. Sincerely, Colletti Anjillah@...
