Guest guest
Hi , I know what you mean about the crazy costs of meds. I've been lucky to be on different insurance plans since I was diagnosed. FYI, Remicade has a patient assistance program that will pay the costs of the infusions if you qualify. Realistically, you would need to be making 6 figures in order to pay for it. Disease-wise, the requirement is that you have tried all the other meds w/o sufficient benefit. This program is open to the uninsured as well as people who have insurance but it refuses to pay for the treatment. Check out their website (www.remicade.com, I believe). When I first joined my current plan, I wasn't sure if they would pay for the Remicade & I found the assistance program to be very helpful.
