Guest guest
Hello everyone, It's again. I got a letter yesterday that I just had to share. As an advocate for the Arthritis Foundation, I sent letters to my congressmen about my arthritis & urging then to support more money for research. Since I'm in Virginia, my Congressmen is Cantor. He wrote me back and said that he felt that many services for people with arthritis were underused and didn't warrant increased funding but he would " keep my opinions in mind. " Ugh! I'm going to write him again. Thanks for letting me vent. Take care, __________________________________________________
Guest guest
The main thing I have been sending them is news articles and scientific articles. Some of the articles I send them are posted by KC on Sickbuildings. I have also sent them information about how my family was harmed by toxic mold and how we lost everything we owned and how our insurance company has treated us. I have been sending articles 2-3 times a month (and sometimes 2-3 times a week) over the past couple years. I also send some of the articles to my state insurance department and to various media outlets. I am going to keep doing it until something changes!! Re: [] Letter from my congressman Can you give us an example of your letter to your congressman? That may be helpful to many others here so they can send one as well. Thanks, Sue I have been sending information to my U.S. senators and representatives. I received the following letter today from one of my congressmen. I just wanted to share this so others can see that it is ************ **Need a new ride? Check out the largest site for U.S. used car listings at AOL Autos. (http://autos. aol.com/used? Guest guest
When you send the congressman/woman an article and they send a response on letterhead, why not take those responses from the congress person to the local newspaper. It supports your credibility. I found it more effective to 'start small' with the media - so you can build your credibility, methodically > > The main thing I have been sending them is news articles and scientific articles.
