Without going into all the gory details,I had a big problem with my foot.It is

still not corrected but at least I can walk on it. My teaching of CME's

increased to triple from last year so the past month has been hectic. I have one

more out of town one and then I am finished for July and August. In the middle

of this, my son found a lump underneath (spoiled dog)throat. She was

operated on to remove the lump because it was pressing on her windpipe. She came

through the ordeal extremely well. The vet says she is more like a 4 yr old than

almost 9. However, the sad news is that she has cancer of the thyroid and there

is nothing more that they can do for her. At this time she is her old self and

you would never know she was sick. We will just keep her happy for whatever time

that is left. You pet lovers will understand how we feel.

I have been frantically trying to catch up with posts and did note one that I

wanted to forward and I somehow deleted it. It was from a Canadian and in the

post she mentioned my good friend Hofstetter, who is a Patient Partner and

is fighting the powers that be to get approved for Enbrel. If anyone has this

post could you please forward it to me.

I would also like to wish any new members a welcome to our group. Hope you are

enjoying it here.

I may have to end up deleting many posts but wanted you all to know you were

ever in my thoughts and prayers.

For those of you with feet problems,be sure you see a podiatrist on a regular

basis. Because of my podiatrist, I still have my foot, for which I will be

eternally grateful. Small infections can lead to big problems if they go

untreated.

Hugs to all

June
