Guest guest
Dear Louise...I'm sorry you're hurting so. Is there any way they can 'bump up' your Remicade appointment? I've spent a lot of sleepless nights sending free e-cards, too! It is a fun distraction. I'll check out the Hallmark site. Thanks for the information. Love & Sleepytime Hugs.... Tess. Guest guest
Louise, Have you told your doctor about how bad you feel as it gets close to time for your remicade infusion? He may be able to decrease the time between your infusions. It may be worth a phone call to see if you can get your appointment moved up. Sorry you¹re hurting so bad and hope you get relief soon. a On 6/4/02 1:59 AM, " Louise Neustadter " <RNLouise@...> wrote: > Well it is almost 1am and I can't sleep again due to the pain. Guest guest
Kathy in FL. I guess that I will have to let my rheumy know when I go11June for the infusion I hope that he can shorten the interval between infusions. We live in Huntsville AL. Home of the International Space Station, Marshall Space flight center,NASA, the Space and Rocket center,Space Camp,Boeing and a (seems like) a million engineer's with their pocket protectors. I believe that Huntsville has the most PHD " s per capita than any other city of it's size in the USA ( I read that somewhere) .I can only say that about engineer's because my husband is one. Bless his heart he is not happy unless he is trying to solve some cosmic problem. He tells me stuff and I just say yes dear. I am an R.N. but that was before RA. MY big problem besides the joint pain and stiffness is the fatigue. When I can sleep I do not feel rested with 8 hrs. I could go 12 hrs. and still want to take a nap in the afternoon. It's like my whole system goes into slow motion. Has any one else experienced this kind of fatigue? Louise
Guest guest
I know exactly the kind of fatigue you describe. My experience is that I'm good for only about half a day no matter how much I sleep the night before. I sneak in a nap at work and nap on weekends, but it never seems enough. You're right, it's like you're stuck in slow motion. --- In @y..., Louise Neustadter <RNLouise@c...> wrote: > Kathy in FL. Guest guest
Hi, Louise! I'm still awake. I haven't made it upstairs yet. I've had a very bad, busy day, and I'm trying to wade through all the mail. We're trying to break the record for most mail in one month! Sorry you are having trouble sleeping. What are we going to do to try to fix that? I have to say that even though I have night-owl tendencies, once I go to my bed and get in, I sleep like a rock. I am very lucky in that department. [ ] Sleepless in Alabama > Oh well it's me again. My hubby is sawing logs and I'm on the computer. He has the very enviable ability to touch his head to a pillow and be sound asleep in less than 5 minutes. Me -It is always a struggle even with the mild sleeping pill my PCP ordered when I was roaming around the house at night like a Vampire. So any other sleepless ones out there in computer land? > Louise in Alabama
