Guest guest
Hi...Had my pre-op today...now my ENT is doing the tonsillectomy, uvulopalatepharyngoplasty, and a septolasty. I asked him if he'd do a nose job while he's at it cause I've always tought my nose was too big but he said, " You DON'T need that! " : ) When looking at my throat again, he said " It looks like you've got 2 ping pong balls in your throat. Let me at them!!! " . My insurance will only pay 2/3 of the cost...he's doing the rest pro bono. He is a kind man, and I am very blessed. I may only have to stay 1 night if I do ok. It's scheduled for Tuesday, June 11 @ 11:30 am Pacific time. My roller coaster is slowing down, but please don't stop praying. Love & Hugs to All... Guest guest
Gee, well my ortho doc said I could do cartwheels after my knees were healed, only problem is I couldn't do em before, so I can't imagine how I will do em now! Well, it is time for the Waltons on TV Land. Sometimes I wished I lived in TV Land. The Waltons, Leave It To Beaver, Fathers Knows Best, yep, life sure was simpler back then. Just came back from being fluffed and buffed, had my nails done and last night, , my youngest, did my toes so I am all color coordinated! Supposed to out for dinner tonight with my friends, no men. One has lupus and the other one has RA, I met them at a support group that I used to go to. We have been friends for about 6 years. I am planning to go out swimming before I go for dinner that is unless the storms roll in before that. It is still very hard to get enough energy together to put that suit on and go out the patio to the pool. I have a few more days to go until my Remicade and I can really feel it in my hands. Talk to you soon......... Debs
Guest guest
Dearest Debs...You CRACK me up, girl!!! I will let you know who I turn into! I keep having these thoughts of waking up one morning, looking in the mirror and seeing the face & body of , Anjelina Jolie, or Zeta-, but when I open my mouth...out comes my quirky, spunky, silly self! I ordered my nighties from the faithful catalog. Sometimes I feel sad cause, even though I was still very heavy (though less than now) I'd just zip through the malls, buying this & that...always perfectly color-coordinated! Now my wardrobe is comprised of black sretchy pants, oversized t-shirts, and holey underwear & nighties! Oh well...my new nighties are coming, and I'm as excited as a kid on Christmas morning! I will personnaly do cartwheels all the way to Florida when they get to the bottom of your health issues and you start feeling better! Just so you know, God gave me a private, straight-through line just for prayers for people on this list!!!! I'm so grateful you are my friend, too. Many gentle, making lemonaide from lemons angel hugs to you, dear Debs... Tess
