Guest guest
Hi Kathi, Hope that you have dried out a bit from your wicked weather this past week. My sister who lives in LaGrange Highlands lost her phone service for two days because of the storms. Her daughter was just diagnosed with mono. Usually she comes down for the summer to spend it here in Florida, but with this turn of events, I don't know if it is the best thing right now. Any additional news on your quest with your previous employer? I often think that maybe I signed my papers too soon, but I feel that I didn't have much of a choice with Ron being out of work and no unemployment benefits at the time. It is such a hard decision. I still have bitterness regarding the whole situation. I was a really good employee, the only thing that I could not give them was dependability. Sounds stupid, I know, but that is the way that I feel. I am really getting pretty nauseated from the pain meds, so I think I will have to suck it up as much as possible with the pain today to give my poor GI track a little rest. It is a real fine line with the medications and the GI system that sometimes isn't managed real well. I am going for my Remicade infusion on Tuesday along with the first IV iron treatment. I hope this will give me some much needed energy as it is so bad that I can hardly lift my head off the pillow. I have a little bit of energy right now, so I am trying to make the most of it by answering some of my e-mails. I just wish I would feel like this for longer. Monday I see the knee ortho and I hope that we can come to some resolution about this latest development with my knee. Sure can't go on like this too much longer. I think I waited too long anyway....gosh I hate to admit it when I am wrong! LOL Hope you have a dry pain free weekend. Guest guest
yes the weather is beautiful and of coarse i was told to stay out of the sun!!! i have not heard anything new from my company. but i do know that my rheumatologist and my foot dr told them i was off on disability for pain and fatigue. my podiatrist told them i was not a malingerer. i got my latest blood work back, my sed rate is at 40 and my c-reactive is postive. but the muscular one was fine. my whole issue with my company is i should have never been taken off disability. if it'll work or not i do not know. but i've got to try. i am going to guess when they wrote me and told me they were waiting for my dr's response, that gave them another 45 days to decide. i didn't get much sleep last night along with the rest of the neighborhood. someone got a new puppy and left him out in the screenroom to cry all night long. these people just came home. we have had the puppy here all morning. my son brings the sweet thing back and he says thanks. puts the puppy back in the screen room. someone called the cops last night. they came and knocked on their door, then left. nothing they could do. no water, no food, no blanket. why do people like this get a dog? another thing. do you all find that people tend to blow you off more then others? just seems like i have people tell me they will stop by and then they don't show. i think they figure well you weren't going to go anywhere anyway. it just seems to be happening to me alot lately. kathy in il

Guest guest
i was on neurontin before 300 mgs back sept 2002. it is never mentioned again, notes or any drug lists. i did have some strange happenings during that time, but neurontin was not mentioned as the cause. i have to work part time to survive my monthly bills and i drive 10 miles to get to my work. i live alone and am afraid to start this medicine. kathy in il.
