Guest guest
Dear Debs...let's have a raffle and hire a hit man for that Mack truck!!! You've been going through so much. It will be a joyous day when they are able to address your problems with the right treatments. I'm sorry there's so much pain. And you're right...people really CAN'T understand until they walk a " foot " (cause that's all it takes to hurt!) in our shoes. I'm still learning about the various weight loss surgeries. First I need to deal with the uppp/tonsillectomy, then possibly the microdiskectomy later this summer. It will truly take an Act of God for my insurance to approve any bariatric surgery, but that's why there's faith! I am doing my PT exercises, throat & breathing exercises, and trying to make healthy food choices. On Mother's Day I got hit by that same $@#%! truck, when just 20 minutes in the sun at a lovely picnic with my daughter triggered a strange flare. Still not over that, but no more prednisone, mtx or Remicade til after surgery. I'm going to ask my surgeon if it's ok to have an injection in my left elbow and both wrists, but if he says no, it'll be no. The weather here is BEAUTIFUL. About 75 degrees, a few fluffy clouds but sunshine and a sweet breeze. I live about 60 miles east of the ocean, on the outskirts of Portland. A few nights ago it was unusually muggy here all night long and the weathercaster said we had the same humidity that night as a city in Florida! I can't remember which one, but I thought of you. : ) I hope you're getting some rest & healthy food. You are one prayed for lady!!!! I appreciate your friendship, too, Debs. God bless you BUNCHES. Much Love & Many Tender Hugs.... Tess
