I don't know whether that is due to the type of foods that normally are smoked (such as meats) or due to the smoked flavor itself. I like to use some smoked spices, since they add tons of flavor to vegetables, etc. Is anyone aware of any studies indicating that such smoked flavor is unhealthy?
