Guest guest
www.smart-drugs.com sells HGH without a prescription -- I believe you can legally import it in most places, but check their guidelines. Be EXTREMELY careful with forms of growth hormone that are not the real thing, and also with the real thing. Growth hormone precursors caused many people I know to crash severely many years ago, after giving us an initial boost, and that crash for some of us was permanent. The real thing shouldn't be used without doing immune balancing first, something that can be read about at the Dallas-Ft. Worth CFIDS site under the Dr. Cheney protocol section. Guest guest
I have aquired it before from Mexican pharmacies on-line. That was years ago though. So, I don't know what the status of that is now. It was a name brand, Eli Lily, btw. The price was reasonalble too. It was not the mini-quick doses that many people are currently using though. It was packaged for larger doses, so there would likely be some waste if you wanted to use only a small amount. I get mine through the Pharmacia Bridge Program, but you need a doctor's script for that. My best advice would be to do some research in the archives here, and from on-line pharmacies. You should be able to get it. I hope the government and drug companies don't close the door on off shore pharmacies selling back into the U.S.. Guest guest
Oops, sorry, I think I knew this -- I didn't mean to give outdated information. Since Carol S. maintains the Dallas-Ft. Worth CFIDS site, though, perhaps there is now updated information there. I went on Cheney's immune balancing/HGH protocol, followed by the growth factors, soon after Carol S. did. I too had an enormous crash from it, and tinkered with the protocol with my local doctor for a good 8 months or so. Overall, it was bad news for me, and I'm absolutely certain that, had anyone been using the genetic testing at that point, I would have been one of the patients Cheney would not have recommended the treatment to. This is also why it concerns me that people are just ordering HGH off the web, or using HGH precursors (which also made me have a really serious crash that made me a lot worse, after initially helping me), without fully reading up on the consequences. Some people have amazing results, but those who don't can actually get a lot worse. Peggy <<Hi Peggy, Carol-S had posted a few months ago that Dr. Cheney uses the Genovations Immune Test panel to determine if you can use his GF-GH protocol. Carols had crashed after a few months, and she said had he obtained the test prior to prescribing it, he would have never suggested she use it. It would cause her TH2 to shift more in that direstion, not what he wanted. >>

Guest guest
Peggy, Whenever I have had a crash, regardless of the cause, and they have been multiple, I have been worse off than before the crash. That is, although I recover from the acute thing, I never recover completely. I am curious; before you crashed had you actually made great gains from the protocol? I ask, because I think it is the " great gains, " that actually causes the problem, not the means of obtaining the improvement. I am beginning to that it might be better to spend way more time on plateaus than on upward slopes: easy does it may be the key. Guest guest
thanks all.....I had heard rumors of a number of bodybuilder-types getting into some trouble a few years back by obtaining it w/o a script via mail-order.....but this may have been because the quantities involved were obviously more than what would be considered " personal " use amounts. I have also heard they are sometimes confiscated by the customs dept.....my intention is to get the proper testing done....but my guess is many docs would be unwilling to prescibe it or even order the required tests if a patient tells them it is for " cfs " ...its use for this purpose would be considered highly controversial by most " mainstream " docs......and I am also aware it seems to have hindered rather than help some.....think I better do some more research and find a knowledgable doc > > I have noticed a number of patients seem to be benefitting > > from HGH. Guest guest
I hope this question is not off base. I surely do not mean it to be. I realize you are all talking over my head about CR percentages. I am going back to my college weight of 140 from 164 and I am am 5'6 " . I work out a bit each day and garden a lot. I am having a bunch of blood work done and will find out more about where I am at with it all. BMI is around 25 weight 158 but I have a bit of muscle and am at 15% fat and BMR is 6513. I just was wondering had you all ever discussed the use of HGH as a person gets older? I do know this is a touchy subject and that it is not kosher to ON diet. But, I wished to ask the question related to the aged. The older a person gets the more hormones become depleted. Is it say possible for a person in their 70's or 80's or 90's to manipulate these problems using HGH as a factor in better health etc? I realize that my question may upset some people but I don't mean to do that. I really want to know. I realize a few studies have been done. I have read some. But, I think the medical establishment has not done enough to explore this area of health and longevity and it gets shoved under the table. So, bodybuilders use it for all the reasons they do. But, I want to really know how it can effect the truly aged. Bob
Guest guest
Yes - you are missing something. GH has been proven to NOT grow contractile protein tissue aka muscle. I'd bet that all your 20 friends are using steroids, too, and the steroids caused their muscle growth, NOT growth hormone. Read my pages on it. It's what the peer-reviewed scientific literature say, conclusively. http://www.medibolics.com/GHNoMuscle2.htm http://www.medibolics.com/GHMuscle2.htm http://www.medibolics.com/GHMuscle2.htm http://www.medibolics.com/FDA_Serono2.htm Using GH CAN help reduce diarhhea (intestinal health), improve skin texture, and several other things, but it will have NO effect on muscle, without steroids doing the real work. AND, if anyone's doctor is prescribing too high of a GH dose, the person will suffer joint aches (arthralgia) that cause terrible pain. That's what most people who were given GH said in the early days. Only after and I told the world to use bacteriostatic water and use a much lower dose did the doctors catch on and prescribe lower doses that don't cause the horrible joint aches. Guest guest
I did the 12 week self injection cycle in 1997 as part of a study for wasting. I had lost 45 pounds while in hospital for pcp that year with the diagnosis of full blown AIDS. The side effects of HGH were clearly stated as part of the study. I noticed many of the side effects, but just kept on working through them. Aching joints was the most difficult side effect especially when doing pull-ups or abs. No pain, no gain, right? Just proceed cautiously. I was down to 150#s at 6’ 4” with about 3% body fat. I am now 220#s, no height loss at 56 years of age and maintaining a 6-7% body fat ratio. I work out less diligently than I did when I was younger but still maintain 3 to 4 times a week with less weight and more reps. My workouts vary depending on my energy and joint pain levels. Health is a commitment that is worth investing in for yourself. I don’t smoke. I drink alcohol moderately and decided to go natural (sans designer drugs) when out celebrating life. Built to Survive was another inspiration. The HGH was a catalyst in battling the side effects of AIDS and the drug cocktail. Lipatrophy-facial wasting is somewhat under control with drug change and a round of dermal injections. I am really glad I did the HGH cycle, once. It helped break through a potential weight gain barrier but it is imperative you keep active and do some sort of resistance training along with or without the growth hormone.
