Probably both, it seems that every time they do maintenance that it takes them a couple of days to get things working right again. Eventually I unsubscribed from the group and then re-subscribed. It still did not fix the problem. When I tried to reply to an old group e-mail as a test, I got a message back that implied that my sp had bounced my mail back a certain number of times and that my account was temporarily disabled. I believe that I searched the help on bounce some of what I got was the following: In many cases, can automatically reactivate your account once the delivery problem is solved. However, in some cases you will need to manually reactivate your account: 1.Visit your My Groups page. 2.Look for a bounce alert near the top of the page. 3.Click the Alert link to reactivate your account. There seem to be different ways to re-activate the account. I went through many different trials so I forget the total process. I think that I got a return e-mail when I tried to send to the group and it didn't go through which told how to re-activate the account. I remember a page that show some status info about you account, like a history of e-mail bounces. I think that there is a way of re-activating the account from there. For me the process was not straight forward. Maybe I don't read or follow instructions too well with this DD. If I find out more I will relay it. Posts are delayed until a moderator has had a chance to log in, read the messages and approve their release. Sometimes there is a really long delay between the time you write and the time your message appears. There was recently an appeal for more volunteer moderators, so hopefully there will be more people to clear messages soon. That should help speed things us. Sometimes bad spyware can cause these problems, they did the same kind of thing on my son's pc recently - he was unable to open regular programs, and his toolbar became inoperable. The only good advice I can give is to totally wipe your C: drive and reformat. Save what you need to CD for re-loading, but be careful not to save suspect programs!
