No CRP or insulin in kitchen sink. My fasting glucose was 66 near the bottom of the modern range and a few points below the old target range from 20 years ago. I expect my insulin sensitivity to be good due to my high activity level, so don't feel compelled to test for it.  My white count was normal so I don't appear to have any sneaky infections lurking about that might cause chronic elevated inflammation. I might be interested in CRP at some point to fine tune my n-3/n-6 diet but first things first.  I'm too lazy to type all the tests so here's a link.  note: I'm not pimping for LEF. In fact I don't typically find them a bargain source for anything which is why I asked my original question.http://www.lef.org/newshop/items/itemLC381822.htmlThey offer a CRP and two different insulin test one with and one without glucose. They also have their own Life extension basket of tests ($400) but even it doesn't look for insulin or IGF? Whatever, they'll be glad to take your money and other web sources offer even more exotic tests. I just though the chemistry profile was a relative bargain for all it covered. You can cover a lot of ground with those basic tests. JRn Jul 25, 2007, at 5:15 PM, Rodney wrote:Hi JR:It would be really interesting to know the full list of tests that is included in that kit.Probably not all the ones we would like to have are included? CRP? Fasting insulin? For a couple of examples. I assume it dosn't include urine tests either?Rodney.>> I probably should have asked this a few weeks ago but now I'm curious > to see if I overpaid.
