cheap? blood work

I probably should have asked this a few weeks ago but now I'm curious

to see if I overpaid. What do other people use for good cheap sources

of blood work, when you're paying with your own money.

I recently got a full blood chemistry profile for $47. I ordered from

LEF over the internet (and that's the non-member price since I

haven't been a member for years), The blood samples are actually

pulled at local LABCORP facility. It seemed like a good deal for two

pages of results, and included in that price is a phone consultation

with a Dr to review the results.

Due to my age I also ordered a PSA, but at $42 for just one puny

marker, it's not the bargain the chemistry profile seems. Perhaps it

would be a bargain if it found something wrong,

Eating right and exercise appears to be reflected in my blood work

which looks better than last set of test results from when I turned

40 (18 years ago). For only $50 I may do this more often than once

every 20 years. There's a lot of useful information in that basic

chemistry profile. I found other web based sellers of blood testing

but they didn't seem to offer the " kitchen sink " chemistry profile,

perhaps to make more money from individual tests.
