Guest guest
Jeff..that is so interesting and SO SAD that, in one quick pass- through of viewing the photos..it appears that the Americans consume the most processed foods and therefore produce more TRASH (plastics, boxes, etc.) than ANY OTHER COUNTRY. I am American but eat mostly lentils, beans, greens, veggies---truly less carbon footprint as there is NO packaging required---(No, I'm not " vegetarian " but about 80% of my meals are.) Not to mention that it appears " we " (my fellow Americans) consume more calories than the rest of the world. The Standard American Diet is obvious here and certainly, IMO, shows the world 1) our gluttony, and 2) a carelessness for the environment. Wow. America should be ashamed. And embarrassed. Guest guest
I was shocked to see how many American-originated junk food items were in the European, Asian, and even Middle Eastern diets. It seems we've exported our bad diet everywhere except remote Africa.
